Memorial Day weekend in the City f Brotherly Love

After a cold and rainy weather outlook squashed our plans to head to
the beach, we decided on a last minute trip to Philadelphia for the
long weekend. The girls studied up on Philadelphia's history in the
car and are excited to see the many historic sites including the
Liberty Bell and Betsy Ross's house, and kid friendly museums such as
the Franklin institute and the Please Touch museum. Other attractions
include the Nation's oldest zoo, the Adventure Aquarium, the
Philadelphia Art Museum and the Barnes Museum (though mommy is being
out voted on the latter). We started off our stay on the double decker
bus tour, the perfect introduction to the city, and are now settled
into dinner at Max Brenner's chocolate restaurant (first introduced by
Papi in NYC). the girls are looking forward to riding the elevators at
the hotel tonight. What a great family getaway!!
